July is a good time as any to take a little break, so while we’re pausing on programming any performances, Grump and I thought it’d still be fun to DJ a little Soak Sink and dip our brains in the sonic vortices we’ll conjure at the decks. In other news, Fafnir and I will briefly be back on the eastcoast visiting fam and friends, and dear Donny’s opening up his Spruce Corner pad for a little show. A now rare Bromp Treb appearance back in Western Mass is imminent - also on the bill is Connect Four - a saxophone quartet of Andy Allen, Keith Waters, Victor Signore, and Donny Shaw as well as the unpredictable movements of the Loculous Collective. The date will be Friday July 19, 2024 and deets can be found either by emailing me here or just tapping that Bromp Treb link.
I made this music video for my friend Chris Cohen. It was a blast shooting super 8 and crashing around the megalopolis. I only lost 1 out of the 5 rolls of film that I shot for it! It has definitely inspired me to work on a few other films lurking unfinished and unmade in my brain.
I’ve been updating my horrible website and trying to manage the ever growing mounds of data on my harddrives. Please look around in the two main areas of my practice as a musician and filmmaker, it’s basically a rats nest of gdocs, sorry not sorry. Massive thanks to suchfun maestro David Russell for keeping his server cooking in that shady greenfield office. Holler at me if you have questions, commissions, bookings, jobs, collabs, etc.
